Pigeon In A Drawer

A pal, Timbo, sent me this. Cheers, Timbo!

Some mate of his at work rescued a pigeon, didn’t have time to pop home, so she smuggled it through security, and sat it in a drawer for the day.

Have to say, he looks a tad baffled by it all…

Maybe it’s the sudden introduction to corporate life? Standing on top of a load of emails thinking “What the fuck?”. Or maybe he just played sick hoping he’d end up in the stationary cupboard?

She even fed him some peach smoothie. Loved it, apparently. Then she took him home and made him better. Dude!

Love to know how he’s getting on…

There is nothing cuter than a little pigeon big enough to have all his feathers but still young enough to have that pink beak…..little rascal!

  3. Suzanne replied:

That is a lucky guy there! I did that myself a couple of times… rescued pigeons are very quiet at work, they are professional birds 🙂

A little blue bar squab it is! Glad to see it fell into some pigeon friendly hands!

Sorry all these comments had to get moderated – just there’s sheds of spam around and I had to peck through a load of links selling ringtones to get to you!

Becci: Totally. Apparently she got it through security under her coat. Nice one!

Marit: Cute as. Probably left home before he should – bit too keen to get into the big wide world – and ended up in an office. Goes to show!

Saint Suz: Good to hear from you. Thought you’d like this one. Got news on email that all’s well with the little fella and he’s at the pigeon doctors.

Hi there all.. I’m the daughter of the famous pigeon rescuer and just wanted to let everyone know he’s doing great! all well and healthy now, and probably a little baffled with all this weird green open space (we live in the middle of nowhere)
and yes, incase your wondering she does this kind of stuff all the time, we’ve had troops of pigeons, squirels, mice, cats and more brought home.. we’re all quite used to it now… its great

Seren: Your mum’s a dude. Rock on! Sorry not to get back to your comment sooner – had a major spam problem so having to moderate comments. Dull as. Far as ‘The Dude’ goes – can’t wait to hear more! Tell me though, how do all the sick pigeons get on with the squirrels, mice, cats etc. ?
