Londonist Interview!

Off to play on The Square in a mo – Brixton posse have rocked up and suggested a spot of fly by practice. Cool. Wanted to post this tho:

My interview for The Londonist!

Well chuffed.

Some dude called Matt got in touch and asked if I was up for it.  Mart took the pic. Managed to get me looking at the cam for once.

A lovely and very entertaining interview, Brian. Glad to see you’re getting the recognition I’ve always thought you’ve deserved. My favorite part was the Pigeon Joke, even though it doesn’t translate…as you suspected.

  2. Elf Mandinio replied:

Wow, such a celeb *stares dreamily at Bri* Just shows what a pigeon can achieve, unlike some… *boots the fat, burger eating trev off the chair*

Yes – cool interview and the Pigeon Joke was lost on me too.

Very celeb pose of you looking over your err, shoulder (do pigeons have shoulders?) Brian. Mart did a good job with that.

  4. pigeonblog replied:

Becci: Cheers for that. Glad you liked it. Knew the sparrow joke wouldn’t make any sense… maybe I should’ve told the penguin one? I’ll post it one day and see if it gets a laugh.

Elf Mandinio: Nice one. Poor Trev tho – he’s doing his best… maybe he should sack the Posty career and come join the ‘Give Pigeons a Chance’ campaign? How’s his flying?
    Your pal Bri

Annie: I’ll defo give the penguin joke a go! Glad you liked the pic too. Should have seen some of Mart’s other attempts tho – hilarious. One was just my beak!

You’re becoming more and more famous. 8)

Capri: That’s why I’ve got to get my shit together on the fly-by!…

Reading the antics of Brian and Co. is hilarious and utterly refreshing. Maybe if Brian is down my way, (Tooks Court off Furnival Street,London) he can persuade my flock of hungry lads/lassies, to make their way to Trafalgar Sq. for a morning feed. I can’t seem to make them understand that I’m a whole heap of shit feeding them here (in the eve), and my every move is now being watched by evil Ken’s and BB.

Michelle: I’ve put the word out – trouble is it’s minging early – 7.30. Too early for pigeons generally. Maybe you could set your alarm clock and leave it outside your window? Wake them up so they can get there in time?
    Your pal Brian P
