Montreal Pigeons Got It Good

Suz sent me this. She runs a restaurant for pigeons in Montreal, Canada.

They get a napkin to wipe their beak on and a nice table to stand on. Jesus – how cool is that. This is the lightly roasted scattered seed starter. Looks fucking lovely.

Cheers for sending it, Suz. You can see more pics of Suz's pals by clicking here. Looks like they got it well good. Get me to Montreal.

In the meantime, my pal RoooRoooo sent me this – it's a goose in Chicago:

Apparently they eat grass and pretend to be sheep. Freaks.

    The first picture is beautiful.

Capri: I can think of worse things to do than sit in a nice fine dining pigeon restaurant. Very cool. I agree – it is a great pic.

Just bin looking at Suz’s other pics – wish i could tempt the pigeons of the area into my garden for a feast! Unfortunately, my cat may have other ideas about feasting. And the pigeons round where i live are scaredy cat wood pigeons, who darent come down from the trees and just sit and coo very loudly of an evening. Not like ur bolshy town pij’s, they’l just walk over your feet if you appear to be in the way

Elf Mandinio: Jesus. I bet country cats are more scared of the pigeons, unlike townie tabbies. Like lions they are. Seriously. Get your wood pigeons down here and see how long they last! Saddos.

There are so many of these well-fed pests in Montreal, so many that I can’t sleep in the morning because of all the racket. Now I know why: Its because of “people” that think that pigeons are so cool and use their free time to feed the next generation of these totally useless, moronic, ugly-looking, ugly-sounding, menaces (i.e. violently territorial towards other birds), instead of doing something constructive! Like for example feeding the homeless, taking care of the elderly or of sick children in hospitals, planting a rose garden, or whatever. Or making homes for other much better deserving types of birds.

There are so many other birds that have beautiful looks *and* songs, but are each year these are pushed away by the ever-increasing hordes of pigeons. But noooo, despite that tragic situation, there are so many f***ing imbeciles that still prefer to think LETS FEED THE BULLIES. Because in the avian world or Montreal (and other cities everywhere), that is just what pigeons are.

Damn shitting pigeons should be hunted, not *fed*!

Anyway, pigeons are not real birds: They’re much more like winged rat. With a shit factory mixed in.

  6. Jonathan M replied:

    Sleepy, YOU should be hunted.

Also, you have proven yourself to be exactly how you erroneously described these beautiful, highly intelligent birds : useless and moronic.

Perhaps you should consider keeping your opinions to yourself, when you don’t have a fucking clue what you’re talking about.

Not only are pigeons kind to one another, and accepting of other species, but they have also been proven to have the intelligence of a three year old. Aside from the rhesus monkey, and a few other primates, the pigeon is the only creature in the animal kingdom to have shown an ability to solve complex mathematical problems. This was reported last December, in the New York Times. Beyond this incredible fact, pigeons also mate for life, and take equal responsibility caring for their young, which I’m sure is more than could be said of yourself and the people around you.

Finally, no animal is a pest. We are. Look around you. Pigeon droppings are a breeze to clean (comes right off with a little vinegar and peroxyde, if you care to know), if compared to a hundred years of plastic, exhaust, and an unending flow of ignorance and retarded, self-absorbed mentalities.
