Great Uncle Henry

See – the cam thing runs in the family. This is a pic of my great uncle Henry – middle:

Taken in 1903 by Dr Julius Neubronner. Apparently, he heard Henry was into photography – pretty unusual for a pigeon in those days – and asked him if he'd model his pigeon cam invention along with George – right – and Albert – left. Said he wanted a pigeon who knew his stuff so he'd look more 'at ease'. Reckon Henry did a great job considering the size of the fucking kit! Amazing stuff.

This is him again. Not sure he flew with this rig though. Frankly a bit off to make him stand on a pedestal. Check out the concentration in his eye! He'd so dig my pigeon cam for portability!
