Doug as Julius Caesar

Me and Mart just did a bit of a fly round, mainly coz Mart gets a bored when I blog all day – fair enough. Anyway – went to Golden Square and – fucking hilarious – bumped into Doug doing the ‘Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears blah blah’ speech from Shakespeare’s ‘Julius Caesar’.

Doug as Julius Caesar
He said sitting on the statue of the Roman geezer ‘allowed him to get into the part more’. Method twat.

Was there anyone around listening to him – or was he just babbling to the wind? Poor bloke. He remind me or Arthur telling his jokes (absolutely love the pictures you took) and no one paying any attention.

RoooRoooo: You’re right – noone was listening. We just happened to turn up. It’s the fact he thinks the statue helps him ‘get into the part’ that cracked me up. Arthur’s shit joke sessions though are legendary. Pigeons come from miles around just to ignore him. Hilarious.
