A Visit to the London Pigeon Spa

This place totally rocks. Got up and Mart said he’d had enough of the undercover ‘are we or aren’t we being invaded’ thing, and just wanted to hang out. So we went to ‘Pigeon Spa’ in Leicester Square. I kid you not. It’s a spa, and it’s for pigeons. Not been before. Fucking cool place. Me and Mart had a wash, chatted with the boys, chilled, ate lunch. Cool. Here’s some of the pics: Mart going for his second dive…

Edd – not too sure: “Hmmm – looks a bit cold to me”. That’s Roger in the background – already in: “C’mon Edd, for fucks sake!” He went in just after I took this. Me – on the right – looking well ruffled. Jesus Christ. Bloody freezing.   Mart giving himself and under wing rub – there’s normally other pigeons do it for you – understaffed I guess… Oh no – they’re all scrapping over the scran – mind you, it was top scran. Note the couple of TPs bottom left doing the ‘toe lift in sync’ routine. Twats. Rog – post bath – just in front of them. Top day out. Fucking good laugh. Then – at the end of it all – the chill out spot. Quite nice with the plastic sheeting. Mart – second from the left – reckoned he could stay there all day. I got bored. Back to the serious stuff tomorrow. Glad we went today though coz the weather’s gone shit again. Norm’s back in a bit so can’t stop. Mind you, the wash has done wonders for the feather drop and Norm’ll love me for that.

Becci: Cheers. It was a top day and the plastic sheets were well nice. Just got a bit restless after a while. Shame when they get the grass out tho coz loads of people’ll sit there. We’ll just have to get there first I guess. Mark the spot with a few feathers!

Really nice. I like it a lot when you introduce your pigeon pals to us and name them on the pictures. That’s how we feel you lived the moment. Cheers for that!

RoooRoooo: They love it too. Fame doesn’t come easy to a pigeon these days and I do love to live every moment. A pigeon’s life rocks!
